called land of Gods, this state is also called Devbhoomi, in Hindi. There are inneumerable temples to worship and visit too. At the end of each temple visit our goal is to attain peace, which is seen in uttarkhand.

-JHOOLA DEVI MANDIR- located in Ranikhet it is 700 years old and dedicated to Goddess Durga. Copper bells are offered.

-PATAL BHUVANESHWARI CAVE- Located in pitoragarh it is mentioned in Hindu, mythology. It is a limestone cave, popular to visit.

-CHANDRABADNI TEMPLE- Located in Tehri, it is devoted to sati, and in this place her torso fell is the belief, in the month of April Dari is grandly celebrated.

-KALIMATH MANDIR- It is one among the 108 Sakthi Peetam devoted to goddess Kali, located in Rudraprayag.

CHITAI TEMPLE- Located in Almora it is devoted in Lord gollu, who is an incarnation of gaur Bhairav.

BHAIRAV NATH TEMPLE- Situated in Kedarnath it is devoted to Bhairavnath lord, who was blessed by Vaishnodevi.

-TAPKESHWAR TEMPLE- A cave temple devoted to Lord shiva, tapkeshwar mela, Shivaratri are popularly celebrated.

-KEDARNATH TEMPLE- It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingam devoted to Lord shiva which was worshipped by Pandavas during mahabharatam.

-YAMUNOTRI TEMPLE- Devoted to goddess Yamuna, located in Uttarkashi district, the goddess idol is in black marble.

Tempels are places that awaken our souls for spirituality. Uttarkhand has lot of peace, and calmness in their air, which on visiting leads to realisation.
